Sapienware: The Human Side of the AI Revolution | Tarif Mohammad Khan | TEDxSUST

What if the one thing AI can never replace is the very thing that makes us human? Tarif Mohammad Khan introduces the idea of “Sapienware”, the human layer of the AI revolution: empathy, creativity, humanity, and meaningful connection. Through relatable stories and examples from the changing world of work, he challenges the fear that AI will simply replace people and asks us to consider a different possibility: what if we learn to use AI while becoming more human ourselves? He also shares his simple TSA Mantra - Thank You, Sorry, Appreciation - as a reminder that in an increasingly automated world, human values may become our greatest advantage. Tarif Mohammad Khan is a brand marketing, business strategy, and communications professional with experience spanning brand strategy, growth transformation, entrepreneurship, and startup development. He currently serves as Head of Communication at Dekko ISHO Venture Capital and is a National Startup Coach at Accelerating Bangladesh. An alumnus of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), Tarif has been actively involved in mentoring young entrepreneurs, judging business and marketing competitions, and engaging with students on careers, entrepreneurship, and the changing world of work. His work brings together communication, business strategy, technology, and human-centered thinking. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
