One Thing to Teach in the Age of AI | Bryan Cassady | TEDxUniversityofSalford

As artificial intelligence reshapes how we learn, work, and solve problems, what is the one skill that will remain indispensable? In this talk, Bryan Cassady explores the human capabilities that AI cannot replace and argues that education must evolve to prepare learners for an AI-driven future. Drawing on practical experience and emerging trends, he challenges educators, leaders, and lifelong learners to rethink what, and how, we teach in an age of rapid technological change. Bryan Cassady teaches people how to think clearly when the pressure to produce answers is high. He has worked with leaders and teams on innovation, and has taught innovation as a guest professor, where the same challenge kept surfacing: smart people move fast, but often on the wrong problem. In this talk, he brings that professional lens together with a personal story as a father to make a simple case. In a world of instant answers, the most valuable skill is upstream. Defining the problem worth solving, and having the discipline to stay with it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
